April - June, 2004

Eight-week after school program for 8 - 10-year-olds was led by student teachers Karl Skene and Sarah Grasby. This dynamic program featured a performance of the original compostion Escaping the Hailstorm, a soundscape with a graphic score, and Alien Awakenings, an original story to music.

Wilfrid Laurier University Education Outreach Program
September-December, 2003

After participating in a series of lectures and workshops, three upper-level music students designed and delivered their own eight-week programs with Grade 3 and 4 students at Empire School in Waterloo, Ontario. The school's Annual Christmas Concert featured “Music by Number” and “Sonic Storm” led by student teachers Kevin Salterelli and Colleen Kidd, and “Pyramid Rondo” led by student teacher Michelle Harney.
